Ella Alexander, our summer intern, is a recent graduate from Punahou School. She will attend Northwestern University this fall, where she will study PolItical Science and Environmental Policy and Culture. Ella is so excited to gain experience in environmental advocacy, community outreach, and the legislative process with Rep Perruso this summer! She is also eager to bring her experience Rewilding Punahou’s campus to Rep’s pesticide awareness campaign. Additionally, her time serving on the leadership team for Punahou’s Sustainability Fair taught her the importance of community-based environmental engagement, which she intends to champion during her internship and throughout her life. In her free time, Ella loves going to the beach, thrifting, traveling, and staying active.

Olivia Eagle is currently in her third year at Hawai’i Pacific University, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marine Affairs with a minor in Sustainability. She is passionate about protecting marine ecosystems and the communities that depend on them.

She joins our office as an intern looking to gain the experiences she needs to pursue her passions. Her ongoing commitment to environmental protection, social justice, and educational equity is what led her to our office.

She grew up on the coast of Washington State, where her love for the ocean began. This early connection to the ocean led her to a lifelong commitment to protecting it. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, snorkeling, and having picnics with friends. She values an active lifestyle that keeps her connected to nature. Through this internship, she is excited to learn from others, grow as an advocate, and help improve the quality of life for our communities.
